Baseball Field Damage Causes Issues for Team
The baseball team showed up to practice this past summer and realized that their field had been destroyed. They couldn’t practice for any games or get ready for the season. A construction company had been putting a drainage ditch in for the school, but they didn’t want to go around the field. Instead, they decided to take a short-cut across the field. This caused thousands of dollars of damage to the field, a problem the baseball team is still dealing with today. Head Coach Rusty Passini reported this to the school, and there were two failed attempts to fix the problem. This situation caused the baseball team to miss their first eight home games.
