Student Council helps plan and organize Homecomings, prom, spirit week, and other student activities. The 2018-2019 student body President is senior Chase Sproles, Vice President is senior Adaja Cooper, and Secretary is senior Sophia Young. Members of Student Council also include representatives and senators from all grades. Their sponsors are English teachers Nicole Smith and Scott Hairston.

For Homecoming this year, the Student Council has been working to organize a pep rally at the end of the week along with all the spirit days for the week leading up to the Homecoming game and dance. The days include Senior Citizen Tuesday, Pajama Wednesday, Heroes vs. Villains Thursday, and of course Black and Gold Friday. Students have been dressing up with each days theme to show their school spirit!
