You can find Heights Tacos and Tamales located next to Steamroller Blues in the Heights, parallel to where the Starbucks used to be. This restaurant is perfect for a light lunch or a date night. You can dress up or dress down, as it is a casual restaurant turning nicer from day to night.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of Mexican cuisine. Their classic cheese dip is a fan favorite and the perfect appetizer to eat before your meal. My personal favorite dish from there is their traditional tamales, topped with their cheese dip. It’s the perfect combo for something a little more spicy.

One of their most popular dishes, however, are their chicken tacos. The chicken is topped with not only cheese and sour cream but also guacamole. It comes with white rice and a mix of tomatoes with cucumber slices.

Heights Tacos and Tamales is a sister restaurant to The Promenades Local Lime, located in West Little Rock. They offer some of the same dishes, but are most remembered for their lime rice. Both of these restaurants are unique to the Little Rock area and are great places to eat on a Saturday night.
