Two years ago, Principal Nancy Rousseau and Student Body President Mimi Abochale (24), ceremonially break ground on the Science Building with celebrating students on Aug. 11, 2023.

In the fall of 2023, construction began on the new science building and athletic facility.

As the 2023-2024 school year closed, construction worked to finish laying the foundation of the science building.

Dr. Maris, head of the science department, and Principal Rousseau sign the final beam—topping off the framing of science building.

Framework for Tiger Hall, a lecture-style venue, began in the summer of 2024.

Sarah Benning (99), the lead architect of the new science building, walks along scaffolding while touring the site with Tiger News staffers, Nov. 19, 2024.

In the spring of 2025, construction workers finish final touches on the science building’s third floor patio. The space is for classes to be able to conduct more outdoor experiments.

Crossing the new senior patio, students make their way to their classes in the finished science building.
