I am a senior and this is my second year on staff. I’ll be helping to manage the Tiger News social media and hope to engage more students with the publication. Outside of school I take dance classes, beekeep, work at Camp Aldersgate, and enjoy being outdoors. I’m looking forward to a great year on staff!

Demonstration. Omar Alshogre demonstrates how he had to sit and live in the Syrian prison. Without cells, the prison was one room with little space. Alshogre showed students how he survived for three years there.

A worldwide club. Senior Arrsh Ali speaks at the assembly, she and Sophomore Kate Straessle are co-presidents of the Syrian Emergency Task Force. Straessle and Ali were asked to host Omar Alshgore as a guest speaker, Straessle has been a part of this cause since she was ten years old. "I think people were really excited to get involved, I'm so glad this got to happen."
