Ultimate Frisbee Joins Competitive League
The newest club of the 2018-2019 school year is the Ultimate Frisbee club, sponsored by new English teacher Andrew Willis. The club was founded by junior Joseph McCracken’s love of the sport eventually turned competitive, thus leading to the start of the Ultimate Frisbee club.
“Our main goal is to just have fun,” Joey said, “It’s a great workout due to the fact that it doesn’t seem like one.”
The club practices normally on Sundays at Burns Park and is planning on competing in a fall league in Little Rock. Instead of meetings, the club has a REMIND text, where group members are updated on meeting dates, competitions, and are able to contact Willis with questions. The club is excited for what the school year holds and excited to compete.
