Black Lives Matter Murals Make Powerful Protest Statements
The West 7th street mural depicts George Floyd along with words such as “peace” and “can’t breathe, the system is suffocating us.” This mural also has the names of Ahmaud Arbery, Samuel Dubose, Michael Stewart, Emmett Till, Oscar Grant, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, Sandra Bland, Philando Castile, Walter Scott, Terrence Crutcher, Breonna Taylor, and Trayvon Martin.
