Sandrekkia Morning is running for school board in Zone 2. Morning graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Insurance and Risk Management. She is currently the Arts in Education Program Manager for Arkansas and has worked at multiple schools in Pulaski County.

“I’ve always had a love for art and writing and it’s been my mission to provide students with an outlet that accommodates their learning style in a creative way,” Morning said. 

Morning wants to make every voice heard, whether that be teachers or students. Through her love of the arts, she wants to provide children with as many resources as possible. 

“My mission is to be a voice for the LRSD community. As we go into the upcoming year I plan to advocate for the continuous support of teachers and students,” Morning said.
