Lou Jackson is running for LRSD Zone 6 so she can continue her work in education and proceed to advocate for public schools. Jackson attended the Little Rock School District public schools and so did her children as well as all of her grandchildren. Jackson is a recently retired educator and believes that the position she’s seeking will be a catalyst to help make a change for teaching and learning. She feels that the major resources for the Little Rock School District are its employees. She wants to make sure that those employees are trained and have all the supplies and materials they need. Jackson believes that if the school district wants to be equitable, then they need to be equitable across the board.
